About this Exhibit
Reflections: Ancient Objects/Modern Issues is a group curation project by 18 students from Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) to engage critically with the way we view the classical world. Under the guidance of Dr. Cicek Tascioglu Beeby, students chose an object at the RISD Museum to research and respond to via their own art work.
This exhibit was installed at the Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology of the Ancient World on December 9, 2022. All photographs of classical artifacts are from the RISD Museum's catalog.
